New Jobs @ Crowd DNA

Roll up, roll up for exciting roles in insight and innovation - all located in our lovely Hoxton Square London HQ...

Consultant (quant & analytics)

This is a role for someone looking to step up from exec to consultant level (think senior research exec) – and quite possibly also seeking to shift to a more creatively minded environment (ie Crowd DNA’s environment!). The successful candidate will work end-to-end on commissions for clients in categories such as tech, media, entertainment, alcohol and fashion retail, from project design and set up, to managing quantitative fieldwork, and analysing data to draw out compelling findings. You’ll be supported by senior team members to develop your research skills. The ideal candidate is likely to exhibit the following:

– Relevant work experience at an exec level

– A tangible enthusiasm for working with data and for doing so in new and novel ways

– An inquisitive and analytical mind, but also the creativity to think about new and compelling ways to present work and tell stories

– Keen to work on mixed method projects, combining data with work from our qual and trends teams

– Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

– Someone who’s positive, keen to develop, and who can operate with equal ease as part of a team or working autonomously

Senior consultant/Associate director (qual, trends, innovation)

We’re looking to recruit a senior consultant or associate director to join our qual, trends and innovation team, working from our Hoxton Square office on fabulously diverse and exciting projects for some of the biggest brands around. You will report in to our qual, trends and innovation director, helping them to manage and mentor the wider team, and to make sure we deliver high quality work that adheres to our company principles of better thinking, being agile and ensuring impact. We anticipate the difference between the two roles – SC vs AD – being a greater level of line management at AD level, and demonstrating a particularly strong aptitude for tackling more complex and challenging client briefs. Here’s what we’re looking for:

– You need to have the confidence and necessary experience to take the controls of large and sometimes complex projects

– And you’ll do so in a way that means you get the best out of the wider project team, ensuring we are collectively diligent and creative in equal measure

– Demonstrating experience of working on multi-market projects will be beneficial

– An interest in trends and the type of brands and challenges that Crowd DNA gets involved with (look around this website if you need more of an idea) is important, as is evidence of how you’ve met business challenges in the past

– We don’t necessarily expect you to have ticked off every one of the research methods we deploy at Crowd, but a broad swathe of experience in qual techniques (plus an appetite for innovation) is expected

– Being able to point to particular experience in comms, brand and product development/innovation work will be an asset

– Showing you can be creative with research and have the confidence to engage clients through exciting debrief approaches is a big plus point

– Moreover, we anticipate this role going to someone who fully appreciates – and indeed relishes the fact – that the world of ‘market research’ (we don’t much like that term…) is fast changing, and that factors such as strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, storytelling and innovation are key to the future of this industry

The roles comes with competitive salaries and benefits package, plus clear paths to promotion. It’s an entrepreneurial and energised environment, fast paced and collaborative. If you fancy working in a place where setting the agenda for the future of insight and innovation is coded into the culture, please do get in touch.
