Jackson's death has powered his videos up the iTunes chart, crashed websites and jammed up Twitter. Jackson's is the first super-celebrity death since Twitter became a mainstream medium, and perhaps predictably, Twitter is all about MJ today (is it too soon to coin 'Twacko?').

We've been doing some research in Germany and the US for an alcohol brand, in which Twitter has been one of the main means of connection. The early prep work has proven really successful too, giving us a fascinatingly raw, real and as-it-happens account of some peoples' big nights out - including a clear idea of what the motivation was to have that big night out in the first place.
