Jake has worked in international research for more than 15 years. He comes to Crowd with a zeal for exploratory and disruptive methodologies and strong experience in emerging markets. He studied Russian, started in social and advertising research, then moved to brand and product development work at agencies like The Futures Company and Clear M&C Saatchi. In recent years, Jake has specialised in mobile technology and branding work in the BRICs and MINTs, exploring behaviour during natural disasters in rural Indonesia through to creating the identity of a new Russian credit card brand. He spent his youth in Belgium and speaks French, Russian and German. He has an enduring love for graphic design, sports merchandise and musty secondhand bookstores. He’s also an under-prolific but occasionally published satirical cartoonist.
