Senior Consultant (Qual, Trends, Innovation)
Ken started out in research agencies in Germany more than ten years ago. He then worked for different DraftFCB offices around the globe – Hamburg, Bangkok, London – as a brand strategist, helping develop bold plans for brands ranging from Nivea to Allergan. Along the way, he became an expert in applied foresight as a trends editor, while in London he took on a second role as a cultural insight expert, managing a global network of foreign correspondents and strategists to deliver cultural insight and trans-creation focused projects for the FCB network. Some of the nuggets he came across included how women around the world see underarm skin as ‘second class skin’ to discovering that only via fighting illiteracy can humanitarian problems be tackled effectively in the long term. On top of all that, Ken loves to catch a wave or two, but as there is usually no ocean nearby he enjoys going dry-surfing on his skateboard, followed by a good yoga stretch and a slow house tune.
