Matilda leads the insight and innovation team at Crowd DNA, making sure that we are always delivering ground breaking work. Driven by a big interest (no, let’s call it an obsession) in constantly increasing her understanding of culture, identity and social norms, this has led her to complete two masters; one in media and one in research. Not stopping there, she’s now just finished her PhD in media and communication, focusing on social media journalism and democratic debate. With a background in international media and entertainment, both at the BBC and more recently BBC Worldwide, where she worked as a researcher and planner, she brings a decade of experience in leading insights and strategy projects, as well as running her own business in Stockholm. Matilda will jump through hoops for clients, but she also literally hangs from an aerial hoop as she trains for her next circus performance.
