Associate Director (Futures, Semiotics & Listening)
Rachel made her way to Crowd DNA after peddling words for a living. She studied English at the University Of Leeds before starting her professional life as a copywriter for TMW Unlimited, creating punchy lines across HSBC, Virgin Trains and several Unilever brands. Wanting to dig a little deeper into what powers great creative, she then joined the editorial dept at trend forecasting agency Foresight Factory, keeping clients from News UK to Carlsberg on top of the zeitgeist. On the side, she wore her copywriting hat to help startups build their brand identity – with a portfolio that includes rum mixers and Ibizan yacht holidays. Now part of the team at Crowd, the thrill of trying to work out what really makes people tick – and then how to express it creatively – is what gets her up in the morning. In her free time, you’ll find Rachel talking about exercise rather than doing it, and discovering the world’s best cheeses.
