Salome is half Portuguese, half Dutch, but grew up in Brussels and speaks four languages. She first moved to the UK to study advertising at UCA and then pursued a master’s degree in anthropology at UCL. Starting her career at a digital agency, working on Bacardi, she then went to Ogilvy and their Ford account, followed by a move to JWT to work on Wagamama, Nespresso and Girlguiding. She’s realised the thing she is most passionate about is getting close to people and uncovering powerful insights – hey presto, that’s why she joined Crowd DNA; to combine culture and strategy. But there’s more to life than work. In her spare time, she can be found trying out the latest London restaurants for her Instagram account or travelling around the world, getting thoroughly immersed in different cultures (45 countries and counting).
