Consultant (Crowd Numbers)
Shantanu is a cultural mutt – an ethnically Indian Londoner, born in Chicago. He discovered insight in a roundabout way, through design. He began university studying architecture, and ended up with a degree in product design; along the way, he realised that his passion lay in getting to the root of understanding what motivates people to behave the way they do. He consequently spent almost four years working within the media, brand, and comms team at Ipsos, mostly on tracking projects for clients like Disney and McDonald’s, but also a dash of ad hoc quant and qual projects when possible. In his spare time, you might find him exploring new restaurants and bars across London, or doing yoga. But mostly, you’ll find him at the poker table, as a self-confessed geek of the game, playing, watching and studying.
