Collaborative Concept Development

Developing new ideas to stay ahead in an extremely competitive telecommunications market

We were tasked with testing and refining market-leading concepts in a highly collaborative and agile fashion, informing the development of the brand’s product pipeline and thus supporting launches in the following six to 12 months.


We took the EE teams and their customers along a three stage process: concept evaluation online; collaborative work in open innovation workshops to focus on development; then final validation. Working sessions with stakeholders between each stage included prioritisation exercises and discourse based on customer feedback, business objectives, competitor initiatives and market opportunities.

We provided clear direction and inspiration for stakeholders to take back to their teams, driving work on the implementation of four final concepts. Alongside this, we compiled detailed information about a further 20 concepts that went through the innovation process, informing future initiatives ranging from product builds to PR ideas.
