Berny launched herself into work at Crowd DNA with a project that spanned six countries for Converse – which led to a rather unhealthy obsession with the brand, to the point where she’s rarely seen wearing anything else on her feet. She’s since gone on to conduct interviews and workshops with lovely people from all over the world, as well as set up and moderate a number of online communities. Berny’s flexible approach has seen her coolly transition from depth interviews with the Boomer generation to ethno sessions with twenty-somethings down the pub. Berny loves: Stephen Fry, Melbourne and classic Magnum ice creams. Berny loathes: coriander, slow walkers and multi storey car parks. Fortunately the latter rarely come up in insight – happy days!
