From the big narratives to the emerging movements, Chris has always had a deep fascination for exploring culture. He joins us after nearly four years at Flamingo, where he worked across a diverse range of categories and projects, including global studies for clients such as adidas, Sony and Facebook, with a strong focus on emerging markets. He studied English and related literature at York University, which entailed modules in myths, storytelling, symbolism and everything from post-9/11 literature to Asian folklore. Before that, Chris lived, worked and studied Mandarin in Shenzhen, China, soaking up the local culture and taking a gamble on the street BBQs. Where to find Chris: in a pool, on a climbing wall, on a running machine, in a non-fiction book, dreaming, dabbling, or queuing for pickle factory.
