Jasmine Lo
Cultural Strategy Executive (London)
Originally from Hong Kong, Jasmine was raised by Tokyo, Gothenburg, Frankfurt and Paris, before taking her studies to the UK. She completed her BA in English at Durham University and her MA in advertising and marketing at the University Of Leeds. It’s hard to say where her path to Crowd DNA began: perhaps it was her love of process and intertwining projects as founded through various university roles across set design, arts management and publicity. Or perhaps it was her dissertation on Victorian commodity culture that took her down the histories of advertising and theories of the crowd. Perhaps the ‘simple’ answer is her third-culture headaches. A fond reader of speculative and experimental writers with weird ways into the world, it’s safe to say that Jasmine draws inspiration from those who do not like boxes.
