Marcus joins Crowd DNA as a social researcher proficient in exploring and documenting the historical trajectory and proliferation of sub-cultures. He is motivated by scratching at the norms and ideas which dominate the forward-facing presentation of culture to find ‘the story behind the story’, unearthing new and unique insights on social phenomena. His previous experience includes writing on the music industry, thought leadership in the retail space, and freelance editing. When not at the Crowd offices, you can find him honing his board game designs, practicing the drums, bouldering, and hanging out with his dog, Alfie.
