Director (Strategic Insights)
Yuka’s passion for understanding, interpreting and navigating culture started at a young age, having been raised in an English and Japanese bicultural environment. She spent five years as a cultural and brand strategist in Tokyo, consulting for the likes of Google, L’Oréal and Philips, and developing insight-rooted strategy for the region. She then moved back to her hometown of London, where she continued with global insight and strategy work, leading a team within the Flamingo Group that specialised in the media and tech sectors, as well as helping to establish insight capabilities for an innovative startup agency. Otherwise, you’ll probably find Yuka in an arts or crafts workshop (she’s become quite good at making mugs and pots), enjoying a whiskey high ball, or on Instagram, researching the next house plant to add to her urban jungle collection.
