Olivia Anderson
Cultural Strategy Executive (Signs, London)
Growing up in Amsterdam, Olivia came to understand the importance of culture from a very early age. She studied English literature at Royal Holloway, exploring and challenging notions of otherness through her dissertation, and writing about culture through the prism of music for the student newspaper. Internships in branding and semiotics led her to the world of cultural strategy, where she found herself drawn to bold, disruptive work. Happiest when she has her finger on the pulse of culture, she stopped pulling pints and started pushing herself, joining Crowd DNA where she can give her curious, creative brain free rein. When not working, Olivia dedicates herself to the pursuit of the perfect cocktail (she mixes a mean old-fashioned). She is likely to be found grooving in the city.
